He Knows, He Acts, He Cares

God, Our Redeemer!
Let your holy name be Glorified(Amen).

He knows acts cares

Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on high. My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God. (Job 16:19-20)

Read: Job 16:1 – 19:29, 1 Corinthians 16:1-24, Psalm 40:1-10, Proverbs 22:1

Relate: About a month back I wa talking with another teacher at a school I was volunteering at. Like almost all of the students there, this mother/teacher is from Kobani, Syria, and she left that city to go to Turkey about the same time ISIS was threatening to take it over. Earlier on I was sharing with the students about the life of Job and so I shared with this teacher one of my favorite verses which is actually something Job was crying out after he had hit rock bottom. Even now my witness is in heaven, my advocate is on high, my intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to…

God Can Do ~

*Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

*Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
*7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

We only need to ask him and HE will surely do the unthinkable because God is great! Just believe in Him, God will do what no man can do!

Dear Lord, I’ve come before you today
Mighty are thy powers,
I lay down my heart desires unto you,
Please Lord, incline thine ear unto me,
Give ear to the voice of my supplications
And let thy will be done (Amen).

God Is Able ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

Lord, I know You are able  . . .

to drive out
to bring back
to destroy
to heal
to graft back

to deliver
to perform
to keep
to build up
to conform

to endure
to enlighten
to finish
to bridle
to strengthen

to help withstand
to subdue
to quench
to lift up
to pursue

to redeem
to make wise
to comfort
to restore
to open eyes

to do abundantly
to make grace abounding
to save souls
to raise up
to keep me from falling!

All though Scripture
we are shown all that
God can do!

I surrender All!

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

*12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

*12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Job 11:13 If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

*11:14 If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.

*11:15 For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:

*11:16 Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:

*11:17 And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.

*11:18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.

Dear  LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the works of Your hand. We surrender all to you, Lord! Come and fill us with your power and glory. Amen!!!

Faith Walking ~

Faith Walking ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

Today, I’m taking a journey,
don’t know where it’ll lead
but, I know God will supply
the directions that I’ll need.

He will give me courage,
to get down the road
and if I get too weary
He’ll help me with the load.

Today, I’m faith walking,
not sure of the way
but, I know God will provide
guidance for the day.

He will give me strength,
if roadblocks I come across
by helping me to keep
my eyes on the cross.

Today, I stepping out in faith,
I’m going into the unknown
believing and trusting God . . .
the truth and way will be shown!

2 Corinthians 5:7

not by sight:”

rescue rise up

The Lord replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.” (Psalm 12:5)

Read: 1 Chronicles 22:1 – 23:32, Romans 3:9-31, Psalm 12:1-8, Proverbs 19:13-14

Relate: Paul and Theophilus. By dropping those two names right up front, I am guessing most people reading this would be thinking I am about to talk about something from the book of Acts. Theophilus was the man to whom Luke wrote and Paul is a primary figure for most of the book but, no. I am talking about a different Paul and Theo. The story I have to share is far more tragic than anything we would come across in Acts.

The story I have to share begins with a young woman named Okoangbele Quincy. She was a young…

Enough is Enough is Enough…

2Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Yes! Enough is enough!!! For His glory will shine forth, Isaiah 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
He’s my shield, my provider, my protector And under pavilion shall I abide.
Psalms 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

New Heaven on Earth!

After a night of contending, I will not be silenced. Enough is enough. STOP. The only piece of a dream that is vivid this morning is a HUGE bathroom and the jist of it: it is more than time to get rid of the past, the old ways of doing things. Speaking metaphorically: it is more than time to FLUSH; to ELIMINATE the toxins, the virus, the cancer, the “nothing,” the hidden darkness that has been infiltrating our lives and counterfeiting everything that is good, true, right and holy…

The ANSWER is Jesus, the Living Christ; it has ALWAYS been the answer. When the darkness rises, LIGHT rises even more; but you NEED THE LIGHT WITHIN and AROUND YOU. Not just any light, but the GLORY LIGHT of God through his Holy Spirit and fire that contains every answer and the POWER to back it up. Christ is the LIGHT…

Benefits of the child of God

The child of God has a position in life. As a matter of fact its the highest position in life any man can ever get. The Bible describes such position as follows:

  • Ephesians 2:6…And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

The reason the child of God has this position is because God’s Holy Spirit gives the believer God’s seal of approval:

  • Ephesians 1:13…In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise

The sanctified child of God has a God given title. The title is Brethren. For this cause of Christ God is not ashamed to call them brethren:

  • Hebrews 3:11…For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause…

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. (Romans 1:16)
